Born in Whitehorse, Yukon Sharon Skibinski was inspired by the natural beauty surrounding her. Using her innate knowledge and understanding of her indigenous culture, she expresses the warmth and depth of spirit found in nature within her artistic creations. Her talent for blending colour and texture can be seen in her weaving, mixed media, paintings and quilts.
Today Sharon Skibinski’s work can be found in Jamaica, Australia and throughout Canada.
