Lions Bay Street Banner Project

There are many places in and around our Village that second as instillation spaces. They offer a multitude of benefits, fostering community spirit and contributing to the beautification and vibrancy of our streetscapes.  

The Lions Bay Street Banner project commenced in 2014 - specifically for the Village's 40th Anniversary. The Village of Lions Bay sponsors the project and the renewal of the many street banners within the Village and along the highway.  Lions Bay Arts curates and manages this process on behalf of the Village for those 10 years. Artists including Druh Ireland, Ute Philips, Rebecca Montgomery, Anne Hurst and Monica Gerwurz have been featured as well as Lions Bay celebrating the hard work of a few local citizens to see our community awarded with a "Bird Friendly" designation.
